Have you ever had the recurring nightmare where you arrive at the gig, finish setting up the PA and at sound-check look around for your guitar only to realise that you somehow left it behind? What if you left it 10,000 miles behind? Not quite the case here, but the feeling these guys had must have been pretty similar!
During September Fevertree were due to start their 10 date UK tour and discovered that they had been badly let down on a promise of certain back-line gear. In desperation they called Robin, Fender Southern Africa's Brand Manager who in turn called Fender Europe and in no time at all the band had the gear they needed for their tour.

Thanks to Jamie Crompton, Fender Europe Artist Relations Manager (left) and Adam Bowden-Smith, Fender Europe Distribution Sales Co-ordinator (right), the band were spared the nightmare of arriving at the gig without their much needed gear. (Fevertree guitarist Garth Luke pictured centre)
Oh and by the way, the tour was a great success - watch out for further news on Fevertree! |
